LUISA WILSON

Luisa Wilson, an NYC based artist, is a fusion of jazz, r&b, and pop singer-songwriter all in one. Her music pushes the boundaries of genre, and her writing has a direct line to her listeners emotions, as her lyrics are relatable in a nuanced way. She started singing when she was five years old, learning how to reign in the power of her voice and paint with dynamics and emotion. Her performances are genuine, just as her music is.

As a student at the Clive Davis Institute, Luisa has learned the art of production and sound engineering, collecting all the possible tools to help her craft her own sonic universe down to the very detail. Her choices are intentional and reflective of her artistry and passion. With seven releases under her belt, Luisa is embarking on a new journey with her upcoming EP titled Love & Oxygen, with the roll out beginning with her single, “Small,” set to be released on October 18th. This project as a whole is a true testament to heart-break, family ties, love, sex, and power. This single is an introduction into the world of Love & Oxygen, telling a story of a girl trapped in a relationship that was never for her, diminishing herself for someone else. The performance is full of soul and ache, the lyrics pack a punch, and the production is a foundation of warm guitar and accented drums on which the other two stand. Pre-save is available now.
