About me

Hi! I’m Luisa, thanks for coming to my page.

I’ve been singing for most of life; started lessons when I was five in a tiny studio next to train tracks in Germantown, TN. Ever since I was introduced to music as a career rather than a hobby, my life changed forever.

I been in love with performing since before I ever set foot on a stage, and I am constantly finding new ways to bring more of myself into each performance I give. I started singing show-tunes when I was first being taught, and that evolved into a beautiful relationship between myself and theatre. As I grew, I ventured into a more strictly pop singing style which opened many new doors for my abilities. In highschool, I attended a conservatory for classical voice training, which bettered my technique immensely, and I can say confidently that classical training changed my voice for the better.

I now find myself in NYC attending the Clive Davis Institute in Tisch School of the Arts, where I study recorded music. For the past two years, I have been writing songs endlessly, and I have absolutely fallen in love with the art of writing a song from scratch; so now, I am releasing my own music, producing my own vocals, and collaborating with so many talented people.

I have found my sound through jazz and blues influences primarily, as growing up in Memphis TN instilled a very bluesy core in my music. R&B is my favorite style to write and sing in, and I am still experimenting with my sound, but I am so excited to have listeners grow with me and my music.

  • Memphis, Tennessee! Born and raised in the town of Blues and Rock and Roll.

  • I take most of my inspiration from Jazz and famous Jazz and Samba music artists!

  • I am a Dual Citizen, and Brazilian from my mother’s side. This has a big impact on my style of production- Bossa Nova is very inspirational to me and I love how that style connects me to my heritage there.
